Our Global Vision

To create thriving, self-reliant rural communities where everyone
has the opportunity to flourish.

Our Shared Mission

To empower rural communities in Nigeria and the United States through sustainable development initiatives that promote economic growth, social progress, and individual well-being.

Our Work:

Our work is guided by seven key pillars:

Agriculture

Promoting sustainable farming practices, food security, and economic empowerment through agriculture.

Commerce

Stimulating local economies by supporting entrepreneurship, small businesses, and market access.

Education

Providing access to quality education and skills training to unlock individual potential and drive community progress.

Health

Ensuring access to quality healthcare, promoting preventative measures, and combating diseases.

Industry

Fostering the growth of local industries and creating employment opportunities.

Recreation

Developing recreational facilities and programs to promote physical and mental well-being.

Sanctuary

Creating safe and supportive spaces for vulnerable individuals and families.

Why Health?

We launched our work with the Health Pillar due to the urgent need for accessible and affordable healthcare in rural Nigeria. As a three-year breast cancer survivor, our founder is particularly passionate about combating the stigma surrounding cancer and ensuring that diseases like breast cancer are not seen as death sentences. Our ultimate goal for Health is to build a cancer-free-treatment hospital, providing world-class care to those in need.

Our Progress

We have made significant progress in our Health initiatives:

  • Phase I: Completed blood pressure screenings and created a patient database.
  • Phase II: Conducted comprehensive triage and screening, expanding our patient database.
  • Phase III (planned): Malaria screening and data collection.
  • Phase IV (planned): Cancer screening and data collection for prostate, breast, cervical, and uterine cancers.

Our Shared Identity:

Both The Garden of HOPE Foundation and The Garden of HOPE Foundation USA operate under the same guiding principles:

  • “We Rise by Lifting Others” – Our adage reflects our belief in the power of community and collaboration.
  • Our Logo: The blooming leaves held in open, sunlit hands symbolize growth, nurturing, and the collaborative spirit of our work.
  • Our Colors: Orange, lemon green, and forest green represent energy, growth, and resilience.

We invite you to join us on our journey to transform rural Nigeria, one community at a time. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
